This qualitative research employed a comprehensive approach, including interviews, observations, and document analysis for data collection, utilizing instruments such as interview guides, observation protocols, and documentation checklists. Data were meticulously analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña's interactive model, which involves data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion/verification to address the research questions. The findings indicate that teachers internalize Buddhist Pancasila values through various methods, including teaching, reminding, reinforcing, habituating, emphasizing, modelling, and applying these values. These values encompassing compassion, love, helping others, non-violence, honesty, responsibility, gratitude, respect for self and others, admitting mistakes, refraining from defamation, maintaining focus, appropriate interactions with the opposite sex, and moderation in eating and drinking. The internalization of these values significantly influences students' character development, particularly in areas such as discipline, compassion, and respect for others, instilling confidence in the validity of the research findings. Data LPPM tahun 2018-2022 menunjukan bahwa penelitian individu sebanyak tiga, penelitian kelompok sebanyak tujuh, dan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat sebanyak enam. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan manajerial dan internaslisasi dasa raja-dhamma terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi di sekolah tinggi agama buddha nalanda Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berdasarkan pengambilan sampel yang proporsional sebanyak 44 dosen tetap. Teknik pengambilan data dengan kuesioner dan diolah dengan regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan manajerial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi sebesar nilai t hitung sebesar 4.883 yakni lebih besar dari t tabel 2.01954 dan nilai sig 0,001 &lt; dari 0,05. Internalisasi dasa raja-dhamma berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma peguruan tinggi pada sekolah tinggi agama buddha nalanda Jakarta menunjukan hasi nilai t hitung sebesar 7.081 yakni lebih besar dari t tabel 2.01954 dan nilai sig 0,001 &lt; dari 0,05. Secara simultan kemampuan manajerial dan internalisasi dasa raja-dhamma berpengaruh terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi dengan nilai f hitung 25.311 &gt; t tabel 4.883, nilai sig 0,001 &lt; 0,05. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Ampel for 10 weeks with a class action research model (PTK).&nbsp; The use of gamification of learning can improve students' cognitive abilities in Buddhist Education subjects. The learning model used in this study is learning gamification using the genially application. The results showed an increase in students' cognitive abilities after the implementation of learning gamification. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kebijakan keamanan informasi diimplementasikan dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku organisasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif menggunakan model implementasi kebijakan George C. Edward III yang mencakup variabel komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap karyawan dan manajemen PT. Century Investment Futures. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi ISO 27001:2022 mendorong peningkatan kesadaran terhadap keamanan informasi, keterlibatan karyawan dalam perlindungan data, serta penguatan budaya organisasi berbasis risiko. Namun, tantangan tetap ada seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kebutuhan sumber daya manusia dengan kompetensi teknologi informasi lanjutan. This research uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that in traditional games in Karanganyar district there is the concept of geometry. The geometry concepts contained are flat shapes (square, rectangle, triangle, kite, semicircle and circle), space shapes (tube and ball), geometry transformation (reflection), and congruence. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Dhammayatra as an experiential learning strategy in strengthening Saddhā and improving understanding of Buddhism. With a quantitative approach and a one-group pretest-posttest pseudo-experiment design, this study involved 51 participants who followed the entire series of Dhammayatra. An instrument in the form of a Likert questionnaire is used to measure two main variables: Saddhā (belief in the Triratna) and understanding of the Dhamma (cognitive, affective, applicative).</p> <p>The results of the analysis showed a significant improvement in the indicators of Saddhā and Dhamma understanding after the activity took place. Collective spiritual experiences through visits to sacred sites, meditation, and guided reflection have proven to be more impactful than conventional methods. These findings strengthen the argument that Dhammayatra can be a transformative learning medium and deeply touch spiritual aspects. By practical implication, these activities need to be integrated into the non-formal curriculum of Buddhist education in a systematic manner, with trained facilitators and thematic learning modules. The appropriate teaching methods will enhance the effectiveness learning process and student comprehension. Many teaching methods have been introduced in modern education to address different learning needs and educational goals. Among those methods, lecture method is one of the oldest teaching methods and common for all level of education. As the religious leader and teacher, the Buddha had adopted this teaching method in delivering the teachings. This research aims to explore the lecture method as traditional teaching method of the Buddha. This research discovers the Buddha’s teaching approach in dealing with different audiences. With library approach, analyzing the data from primary sources and secondary sources, this research delves into an analytical study on the role of the Buddha as the teacher and systematic approach of lecture method he used in delivering the Dhamma. The Buddha is attributed as a teacher of humans and gods (<em>satthā devamanussānaṃ</em>) who teaches the Dhamma in various methods (<em>bhagavatā anekapariyayena dhammo pakāsito</em>). The method used in this study uses a descriptive analytical approach with a qualitative research type. The data in this study is persuasive language found in advertisements displayed in print media with data sources from the Serambi Indonesia Daily print media. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative analysis technique with stages 1) re-reading the advertisements that have been collected, 2) identifying the language used in the advertisements, 3) classifying advertisements containing persuasive language based on persuasive language techniques identification, suggestion, rationalization, compensation, and conformity, 4) analyzing the meaning and implications of persuasive language, 5) describing the use of persuasive language in advertisements. Menggunakan pendekatan interpretif dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi untuk memahami konteks pengajaran, serta wawancara mendalam guna menggali faktor-faktor pendorong dan mengevaluasi dampak integrasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pengalaman pribadi guru, baik sebagai siswa maupun mahasiswa, serta kebijakan kurikulum di Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT), menjadi pendorong utama integrasi nilai-nilai Islam. Implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam mata pelajaran umum dilakukan secara alami dengan menyisipkan nilai-nilai dan fakta Islami yang relevan, meskipun tantangan muncul dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara pencapaian tujuan akademis dan pengajaran nilai-nilai Islam. Para guru berperan penting sebagai teladan, tidak hanya sebagai penyampai ilmu tetapi juga sebagai pembentuk karakter siswa. Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam terbukti tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran akademis, tetapi juga berperan dalam membentuk karakter Islami siswa, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan moralitas, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab. Dampak positif integrasi ini terlihat dalam peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran, sekaligus membentuk mereka menjadi individu yang berakhlak baik dan berintegritas, sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data melalui beberapa tahapan sebagai berikut : Pengumpulan Data, Penyajian Data, Kondensasi Data, dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut Hasil dari wawancara, observasi. dan data-data yang ada, bahwa Yayasan Pendidikan Teknologi Kader Pembangunan Indonesia (YPT KAPIN) Jakarta Timur belum sepenuhnya membuat kebijakan yang mengarah pada peningkatan kinerja guru, hal ini dapat dilihat pada aspek-aspek kebijakan yang seharusnya dibuat oleh yayasan ternyata belum dibuat dalam kebijakannya. This study aims to examine the ethical use of <br>ChatGPT in Buddhist Religious Education based on the principles of the Dhamma. The research employs a literature <br>review method with a descriptive-comparative approach, analyzing Buddhist canonical texts such as the Tipiṭaka and <br>recent scholarly articles on AI ethics. The findings reveal that Buddhist ethics differ from secular ethics by focusing on <br>intention, mental awareness, and spiritual transformation, rather than merely consequences or rule-based obligations. <br>Comparatively, secular ethics tend to be consequentialist and deontological, while Buddhist ethics are rooted in inner <br>qualities and moral harmony. Based on this comparison, the proposed solution is to promote the wise and mindful use of <br>ChatGPT as a supportive tool—rather than a replacement for teachers—while upholding the teacher's role as a moral <br>and spiritual guide. Furthermore, the integration of core values such as wisdom (paññā), honesty (sacca), and <br>mindfulness (sati) is essential in the learning process. This systematic literature review explores the integration of AI into Islamic education, focusing on its potential to support character and cognitive development while aligning with Islamic values. The study identifies critical research gaps, analyzes existing literature, and synthesizes findings to propose actionable insights for future advancements. Results reveal that AI can personalize learning experiences, enhance critical thinking, and integrate moral and spiritual principles into the educational process. However, challenges such as ethical concerns, data privacy, and the need for localized AI solutions remain significant barriers. The findings underscore the importance of a holistic approach, combining intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions in education. Recommendations include the development of AI-based curricula aligned with Islamic values, teacher training programs, and ethical frameworks to ensure the responsible application of AI in Islamic education. This research is expected to provide a comprehensive overview as a foundation for developing technology-based learning media in Buddhist higher education. The method of this study is qualitative approach with an empirical study method. Data was collected using in-depth interview method with key informants consisting of lecturers and management from the Buddhist Religious Education Study Program at STABN Sriwijaya. Then the collected data were analyzed with thematically method to indentify the patterns of needs, perceived challenges, as well as expectations and strategic steps that have been and will be taken by the institution regarding VR implementation. The results show a strong need for the application of VR as a medium to enhance motivation and learning effectiveness, enabling students to be virtually "present" in historical and cultural contexts. The main identified obstacles are the limitations of internet network infrastructure and the readiness of human resources (lecturers) to adapt to new technology. Nevertheless, there is high optimism and concrete institutional strategies, as STABN Sriwijaya is actively in the process of building supporting infrastructure such as new buildings and laboratories to realize digital transformation in its learning process.</em></p> <p><em>Keywords</em><em>: </em><em>needs analysis, virtual reality, challenges, expectations, STABN Sriwijaya</em></p> Triroso Triroso Ida Ayu Gde Yadnyawati Sutrisno Sutrisno Copyright (c) 2025-08-26 2025-08-26 11 1 148 165 The influence of verbal ability and social intelligence on students’ self-efficacy https://www.jurnal.radenwijaya.ac.id/index.php/PSSA/article/view/1835 <p><em>This study aims to determine the influence of verbal ability and social intelligence on the self-efficacy of students at SMP Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 183 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression.</em></p> <p><em>The results showed that verbal ability had a significant influence on students' self-efficacy with a coefficient of determination R² = 0.402 and a t-value of 11.031. Social intelligence also had a significant effect on self-efficacy with R² = 0.693 and t = 20.206. Simultaneously, verbal ability and social intelligence had a meaningful effect on self-efficacy with R² = 0.711 and an F-value of 221.009. Schools are expected not only to provide cognitive knowledge but also to shape students’ moral character and ethical responsibility. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the inquiry learning method in developing moral and ethical values among Grade VII students at SMP Paramita Maitreya Duri, Indonesia. The research adopts a qualitative case study design with purposive sampling involving students, teachers, school leaders, and parents. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation. The findings reveal that inquiry learning fosters active participation, critical thinking, and reflective engagement in moral education. Students demonstrated improvements in honesty, responsibility, cooperation, discipline, and self-control. Ethical awareness was also enhanced, with students showing increased ability to analyze real-life dilemmas, respect others’ perspectives, and make moral decisions. These findings are consistent with both contemporary educational theories (Bruner, Lickona) and Buddhist teachings (Dhammapada, Kalama Sutta, Sigalovada Sutta). This article employs descriptive analysis using secondary data and big data analytics from social media data to examine the pandemic's immediate effects and impacts on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 4, focusing on quality education. While positive sentiments surround the implementation of online learning in Indonesia, the study reveals negative trends and a slowdown in achieving critical indicators related to SDG 4. The findings highlight the need for the Indonesian government to formulate and implement improved policies to reach the Quality of Education targets by 2030. Pollution caused by domestic waste, traditional markets, and unprocessed industrial waste has led to a decline in water quality, sedimentation, and an increased risk of flooding. This study aims to uncover the social impacts of this pollution using qualitative methods with a constructivist approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis revealed that river pollution has led to an increase in water-related diseases, a decline in fishermen and farmers' incomes due to ecosystem damage, and limited access to clean water. Additionally, low public awareness and limited waste management facilities are major obstacles in addressing this issue.
